Default Digimax Setup Help pops and clicks

I have a 001 and Digimax using 6.1.1 and I can't set up the Digimax properly. In Hardware setup, I have the clock set to Optical, in Optical Format I have it set to Adat, in Sample rate, 44.1khz. The Digimax is set to 44.1 the external clock is set to off. What am I doing wrong please?

The clock must be set to ADAT optical.. and not Internal. Open the session setup window (Ctrl+2) to verify that the clock is not on internal. When using a digital input, Pro Tools must share the same clock as the source device.

You want it to be set so RCA = SPDIF/Optical = ADAT and the clock set to ADAT.. if this is set right and you still get pops make sure that your external device is set to Internal.. and that you have good quality cables and connections. Make sure that your Pro Tools sample rate matches the sample rate of your external clock source.
