Default Problem with M-Audio transit driver

I thought I would try out my old M-Audio transit today to see if it still worked. Yeah storage was kind to it but after I plugged in my usual interface and booted pt and went to work I got heaps of glitches in the audio. Then pace put up a notification it wanted to connect to the internet ?? Transit doesn't use iLok. Later I was booting pt and it 'hung during startup !😥'.
Had to reinstall everything from the ground up.
Offending driver was Transit_6_0_1_5_10_0_5131
FYI M-Audio don't seem to even have have a transit driver on their site not that I would install one but the transit requires one.

Life does have it's twists and dead ends doesn't it.

They do have drivers under the "Legacy" section. Although very outdated.

Yeah thanks, under OS win7 is the same one I have. This looks to be the last driver update for transit. It used to work properly for me I thought but back in the day only PT M Powered ran the transit (which I had) and may have dealt with some driver quirk. There's still the pace notification issue as well, M Powered required iLok v1 but M Powered wasn't on my system yesterday.

I think being non compliant & with only dodgey driver the Transit is destined for the wall in the man cave
