Elastic Audio Quantize error - HELP!

So, I’ve extracted a groove (PT12) from kick and snare, and I want to quantize a mono audio track (keys), using elastic audio, quantizing to the extracted groove. However, I keep getting assertion errors, something about midi. Funny thing is also, my groove folders were missing. I didn’t have any of the groove presets, nor was I able to save my own groove until I created a groove folder in documents. I’m hitting dead ends with Google. Came across people with similar problems, but no solutions.

Could not complete the MIDI Groove Quantize command because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/158347/ProTools/NewFileLibs/FF/Audio/Elastic/FF_PacketStream.cpp", line 4176.

But I'm trying to quantize audio, not midi!

Grrr....

and yes, I've already trashed pref.

Anyone have any ideas?
