Midi problem in Protools TDM 6.4.1
Hi, I’m running TDM 24 Mix+ on Windows XP (Pro tools 6.4.1) and I’ve had no trouble with audio recordings. I bought VST to RTAS converter (FXpansion) and converted a lot of my VST plugins including my VST instruments like Steinberg’s Grand piano and B4 Hammond, the trouble I’m having with the VST instruments is that when I play the keyboard through midi using either The Grand or The B4 the pitch isn’t the same as on my keyboard, it plays a bit higher in ProTools about halv note higher or more? The pitch settings on both the keyboard and the Grand is the same (Hz440) but still it doesn’t match? I’m using Midiman Uno USB for Midi connection. I also have Cubase SX on my computer since I am a former Cubase user and everything works ok there.. no midi problems with the Grand or the B4.
Is anyone here that had the same problem and got it fixed? Could this be because of the converter? or is it a ProTools problem? I also posted this in the FXpansion forum if it is a converter problem. |
