Default exporting clips as files

Is there a way to select multiple consolidated tracks in the edit window without having more clips than the tracks selected ?

ie:I select 3 tracks consolidated within the edit window and get 5 clips selected in the clip window.

If I do the tracks one at a time the selection on the clip window is right.

One track one clip.

Loosing a lot of time when trying to export clip to file one at a time

Hi !

I do that process a lot with no issues. At least here i grab and select what i want to export with the mouse and "select all" shortcut and always succeed with exactly what i choose. Can you post a little video doing it ?

Have you tried tracking down where the 2 extra selected clips are in your edit window. My guess is when you consolidated, there were some tiny remnant clips still left in your edit window.

nothing tiny , the clip(s) before being consolidated to the start of the session for all the audio files to have a bar1 start.
I also get rid of all unused files before exporting

But where are those "extra" selected clips in your session?

"But where are those "extra" selected clips in your session?"

They are in the hidden inactive tracks that have been replaced by the new consolidated ones

Ok.... so where are those hidden inactive tracks? Are they stacked between the tracks you are selecting when doing multiple tracks together?

Perhaps some of your tracks are grouped with hidden tracks?

After a reinstall of Protools I opened the session and deleted all the hidden tracks and most of the audio track.

Down to a stereo track and one mono.

Recorded new tracks.

The newly tracks behave as they should when selected .

The original mono one still selected 2 clips in the clip window when selected last.

It behave normally when first on the selection of multiple tracks.
