Import Audio...permissions problems all of a sudden?

Never had this problem before...

Might be a coincidence that I recently upgraded to 8.0.3, or not, but I was trying to import audio into a session that I've had no trouble doing so before, and I couldn't sample it to listen or import it into the session.

I then went to the file and clicked Get Info and saw that i had to change the permissions to Read and Write. And I wasn't listed as a choice, just "unknown" and "everyone".

Once I change both of those I was OK...but again, I've never had to do that before and I've used this portable drive and these particular files before without issue.

Upgrading to 8.0.3 wouldn't have had anything to do with it - the OS controls file permissions and it looks like they got changed somehow. Without very specific info about many things, including the history of the files, it's difficult to say what may have caused it.
