I am using PT 11.2.1 on Yosemite. It's working just fine. No issues so far.
Here's my query: Can someone please tell me where the AAX plugins folder location is on YOSEMITE when using PT 11.2.1? I can't find it. I don't have any Digidesign folder in Application Support. This is so unnecessarily confusing. I want to remove several unused plugins and put them in an "unused" folder. Seems like each 3rd party plugin manufacturer has their plugins in a different location all over my computer. It was never like this on PT 10 or 11 on Mavericks. Thanks!

you need to show hidden folders (thank you Apple for hiding them, not) http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac...inder-3520878/
they are in Avid folder now Niner, if your .axx files are in your user doc folder, you got one funky rig

really appreciate this tip. I'll give it a try. Though, I can't believe Avid would make it this difficult to simply find the plugins folder on Yosemite. We actually need to go into Apple Terminal and put in lines of code? It's not difficult stuff, but how can this be what Avid intended? If I want to remove or add certain 3rd party plugins from my plugins folder, shouldn't it be easy? T-Racks, for example, installs their entire EQ plugin suite on my computer even if you only own 2 of their plugins. I want to delete the 20 or so other plugins from T-Racks that I don't own...they totally clog up my plugin list when I'm working in PT. Yosemite seems different than Mavericks in terms of folder organization. That's really what I want to do.

For users who do not constantly need to access the Library folder in the home directory:
Hold down the Option key while accessing the Go menu in the Finder, this will reveal the Library folder. |

The plugins are not in the user library, they are in the local library. The option key doesn't help.

I know where the PI’s are stored. I was just mentioning an alternative method to access the Library folder in the user’s home directory without the necessity to unhide it via the Terminal.
![]() @ the OP The path is: yourHD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins |
