Default MBOX 2 Install on Partition hard drive

I have an IMAC G5 and just partitioned my hard drive. I was only able to install OSX on one section and pro tools will only install on one section. I want to have a section just for pro tools but don't know how to install it on it's own partition. I was told to do this by many pro tools users but I am stuck. Please advise.

Welcome to the boards, If I am not mistaken, I believe you would need to boot from the partition that you wish to install PT on and then follow normal installation instructions from there. Your other partition should normally show up as a network drive I believe.
