Default Crashing constantly in 6.9.....Help!

Running ProTools TDM 6.9 on an OSX10.3.9 loaded 1.8 G5 w/1GB Ram, with HD2 Accel hardware and Apogee converters. The software hangs almost every take, making it really hard to get anything accomplished. The WAV files are usually there afterwards in the backup sessions. I've tried putting the sessions on 3 different hard drives with little to no avail.

Help me!

I understand that 10.3.9 is not supported. 10.3.8 however is...

Hope that helps...

Hello,

If it is only this session that is crashing! then open a new session and use import session data! to import all the parts in from the session that is crashing, this way you will be running with a new session and this will clarify if the session was corrupted etc.

If this does not fix, then give a more detailed discription of what is happening, what setup you are using and are you getting crash logs? if you are getting crash logs then you can look at them and see which thread has caused the quit and this could give you some indication of what is causing the crashing.

Chris
