Info on Pro Tools Essential

Hello Im wanting to buy the M-Audio fast track interface bundled with Pro Tools Essential and I was wondering how many tracks the software offers. I understand this is not a full version. And also what is the difference between Essential and the LE version. Thanks to anyone for your help.....Eddie
