I tested this on Studio 2022.4 on Windows 10 and Studio 2022.6 on macOS Big Sur and cannot get Mini Grand or SD3 to fire spurious notes when using pre-roll.

Are you on Ultimate or Studio?... how are you punching in? On Studio I only have quick punch obviously.

Can you share a session that does this.
