Default Waves 7R8 released

Waves 7R8 is out. This release fixed the IR-L reverb (on my machine anyway) so I can run the full processor version and CPU use is down. Supposed to be some other bug fixes as well.

Waves seems to be bringing out version updates about once a week!

Cheers,

Looks like the've added about 40MB to this, all for just 300+$$ a year.

The best $300 you'll ever spend - at least until next year.
I did get 2 new plugins this year and THEY FIXED IT!

Doesn't sound bad when you think about it being spread out over a year. Hell, most of us would probably piss that $300 away on BS anyway!

Wow, I've been having some issues related only to sessions with plugs.

sessions are fine until we start adding plugs (Almost ALL are in my Platinum 7 bundle) and as soon as we do, we start dropping the control surface....

hmmmm....

Gonna go download.

Wish I could be as confident in 8.0.3cs2....

Kinda funny... cause I don't question the waves update at all

No. Currently not. In the studio.

Both rooms are still good ole XP PRO SP3's 8.0.3

???? Why do you ask ????

Here's where I've been at:

Machines are both Dual AMD 64x2 2.2's, with 4GB DDR2, SATA's

I've been considering Win 7, but in all honesty I'd rather go to Macs.

So, rather than go to Win 7, and potentially build new PC's... one at a time I'll go over to Mac Pro's.... probably cheap 1st Gens.... at least Dual Intel

In the meantime, I gotta get the kink ironed out tho... hoping maybe the Waves update will resolve ????

The other rigs are Mac and I LOVE THEM.... so everything is going over, in time.....
Gotta have somethin for at home and so that is a MacBook, Dual Intel, 8.0 with a MBox, Axiom, MPC4000... just to play.
Then the Live rig, which is a Mix rig, 64 Channels I/O on a G4 MDD Dual 1.25, 2GB RAM
