Midi input problem
Hey all...
For some reason I can't specify one midi input when using instrument tracks. I have an M-Audio trigger finger, Roland Juno-D, Kurzweil PC1x and Roland TD-6 V-drumset. For some strange reason whenever I choose one track to take it's input from the Juno-D, every piece of MIDI gear still triggers that. I've got a friend here and he's playing the v-kit...I was going to Jam with him, I'd play out stuff on the Trigger Finger, but we were both triggering the same virtual instrument I was triggering (XPand) - very annoying. Anyone encounter this? I'm running 7.1 on a Mac G5...Digi002R. Midi interface is MOTU Microexpress usb. OSX 10.4.3. Thanks ~JB

Re: Midi input problem
probably caused by the settings you have for default midi thru. look in "setup/preferences/midi" . i have been setting "Default Thru Instrument" to "none" and just hitting "record" on the channels i want to play or record on.
