Re: Up-dating from le 6.4 to 6.9 What\'s involved
From to 6.4 to 6.9, you would need to get 6.7 first as a PAID update and then update to 6.9 from there on Panther. I just went through that myself not long ago. I recently went to TIGER and 7.0cs3 and Ive not had any problems yet. It seems that there are issues people are having with 7.0.
6.9 was always solid for me under Panther though and I had the latest cs updates installed for 6.9 as well. Good Luck to ya

Thanks for your reply I thought this might be the case but I'm having trouble finding how to get to 6.7 paid or otherwise.

Re: Up-dating from le 6.4 to 6.9 What\'s involved
You can still purchase the Pro Tools LE 6.9/6.9.2 Upgrade on the Digistore in the Pro Tools Upgrades section. You would use Pro Tools LE 6.9 as long as you are on Panther. There is no need for Pro Tools LE 6.7, since all paid upgrades are full installers that do not require any previous version of Pro Tools
Also, since you would be purchasing the 6.9 upgrade now, you would still qualify for a free upgrade to Pro Tools LE 7 for Tiger should you upgrade you Mac OS to Tiger later on. See the Customer Service section in the Support section for information on upgrades and updates.
