Why don't you run them through Bluecat's patchwork?
It could be much more easier in your workflow.

cheers.

Core Audio has never ever worked properly on HD hardware - it works five on Native boxes. It's not a priority it never has and it never will get over it and move on.

Thanks, but CoreAudio works on Maverick (which I am using). So, I don't need to demo Nexus, as I don't have a problem yet.

Core Audio worked just fine on my PHTDN - Omni system, right thru Mavericks (which I'm still on)

The ability to fairly quickly and easily check for good mix translation across varied sound systems and varied compression schemes like 24 bit WAV session to compressed MP3 for distribution etc. is a priority for me, and I would think a must for any professional mixing. It was working fine up until Yosemite, except of course for prototypical user error or perhaps specific system problems.

Assuming that Apple changed something in Core Audio in Yosemite the questions Avid should answer (publicly) are : Are Avid's programers able to rewrite drivers for Core Audio to work on Yosemite and hopefully El Capitan or not ?

If they are, then WHEN is this going to be done. If they can't figure it out then say so, and we as customers can make and INFORMED decision as to how to " move on"

I agree.

Avid wants to ignore the issue, yet imposes a December 31 deadline to upgrade to 12 without paying a penalty.
