Default Pro Tools friendly motherboard for Intel Quad core setup?

Ok, my AMD X2 build has gone a bit 'kaput' so it's time to build something new.

I wan't to get an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU as these are monster right now, and really cheap!

Can anyone reccommend a Pro Tools friendly motherboard to go with it?

I run PT 7.2 on XP SP2, dual boot with Vista for the occasional bit of gaming (so SLI enabled would be a bonus).

Any user experience would be greatly appreciated.

TIA!

ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi AP board is working great here. The P5K standard works fine ecept for its FW chip. If you have a Digi approved FW card the 5k will save you some green.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm not aware of ANY sucessful SLI Qseries Quad builds yet. If your a gamer maybe Cross ire on a Intel based chipset would work for you. The 680i is a complete No-Go at this point with PT.

Asus PK5-E if you don't need all the extra trimmings or P5K3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP if you wanna go with DDR3.
