another iLok nightmare

I got my HD system 4 weeks ago. The day after I installed it my iLok died. I got another on from Digi. Now I am working on a session and 3 plug-ins (Drawmer, D2 and DPP-1) show the dreaded "the demo has expired' page. I know these are authorized on the iLok using the keyboard command (option-command-D-4) hold this while loading Masterlist CD and it will show what plug-ins are authorized on the iLok. They are there so why aren't they working ? Digi this is driving me nuts [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

Seems like the iLok is causing many people a lot of problems. I just got my HD system, and am waiting for most of my authorization cards so I have yet to see if I too will fall victim to the dreaded iLok. What I don't get is why Digi doesn't just use the challenge response method of authorizing the iLok. Isn't it made so either the smart card or a challenge response can authorize the iLok? Seems crazy that we have to wait to use our plugs because Digi is out of the smart cards. But then again, they do have a demo period, hopefully Digi will have stock in a couple of weeks of all the plug-in smart cards. I know this isn't exactly your issue, but I didn't what to start another iLok thread.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Have you recently upgraded to PT 5.3.1? If so, then the installer probably changed plug-in versions on your system. For more information, check out the "Updating Your Plug-Ins" section here.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">This method only displays which authorizations are installed on the drive/volume from which you launch the MLCD application. There is currently no way to view the authorizations contained on iLok.
