I can't see the video but after you said you cannot move it at all, any chance it is "locked" to prevent movement and/or deletion? There will be a small padlock looking icon in the bottom corner of the region the note is in

Hi !

No, no padlock at all. And in that specific region, no problem with the other notes. Just ONE note

I just received a mail from Avid Customer Care. I’ll send them my session. Wait and see

Just curious, Have you tried deletion using a key command instead of the context menu?

Yes, ordinary using keyboard for editing, but for the video I used the context menu.

Multiple playlists maybe?
Elastic audio enabled?

I'm just throwing things out there as it seems the next plan of attack would involve an exorcist

I remember having the same bug a while ago.
If I remember right: Creating an empty MIDI clip right before and merging it (Shift-Option-3) with the existing one solved the problem.

Thanks, I’ll have a try.
But also waiting Avid’s answer

Default midi bug: cannot delete one note !

Just had an answer from Avid (thanks Jeffro)

Hey Philippe,

Thanks for sharing the session file. I was able to repro on my system so have passed the session on to Engineering.

I found that F1 gets deleted on its own if I merge its Clip with the following Clip. Merging its Clip with the previous Clip allows me to delete F1, so that might be a workaround for you for now.

Will let you know if Engineering finds a root cause

So, I'm not completely crazy ! Not bewitched either !

BUMP
Pro Tools Ultimate 2020.12.
Still can´t delete things from MIDI Event list.
Worked great in Pro Tools 10.

I tried consolidate MIDI regions to one long. Still can't delete.

Workaround is to delete things in the MIDI Editor window...
Please repair this Event list bug.
