Control 24 modifier keys broken in 8.0.3

Hi,

Since updating to 8.0.3 the modifier keys don't seem to be working any more

Stuff like...

Command+S (save)
Command+shift+N (new track)
Command+G (groups)

none of these are working from the control 24

If someone with a control 24 and or a control surface can check this!!

After trash prefs its still broken what a pain!!!

All modifier keys are working as it they should here with a C|24 control surface & 8.0.3/OSX 10.5.8

Thanks for checking with the new C/24. i would have thought the drivers were the same, maybe not then.

Anyway i have booted up my clone of 8.0.1 and the modifier keys on the original Control 24 are still working ok, so its 8.0.3 that has broken this

Are you sure you updated the control surface personality files when you moved to 8.0.3?

Chris ... All those key commands are working here with 8.03 on my control 24. On the first start of 8.03 it forced my c24 to power cycle ...

Hi,

I thought it was installed with the update!! i'll check this though, but everything else is working ok.

Thats strange! i had to go to peripherals and reset the ethernet controllers as normal, but i'll check further.

Hi Ainslie,

Checking further the problem is that the control 24 modifier keys don't work in conjunction with the apple QWERTY keyboard.

Press command+shift on the control 24 and "N" on the qwerty should bring up new track window. but it doesn't for me in 8.0.3

So this is definitely working for you?

I have checked the personality/control 24 bundle and its info states version 8.0.3 11th December 2009

Hi,

I've had a couple of total freezes since installing 8.0.3 so i am uninstalling. clean uninstall and installing 8 then 8.0.3 update.

See if this makes a difference to this issue and others

Uninstall and fresh install of 8 then 8.0.3 and control 24 modifier keys are still not working in conjunction with the QWERTY keyboard

for example: command+shift (on the control 24) plus "N" on the qwerty keyboard should bring up the new tracks window?
