Default DAE Error 9131

I just got a Digi002 rack and got it set up fast and inputting audio, but i can't record anything because of DAE error 9131. I get it as soon as i start to record. there is a slight pause, then pops up an error. I checked the answerbase and did not find anything that helped. Does anyone have experience with this error and trobleshooting it? I need to have this unit running smoothly stat.

Thanks for any help any of you can offer!
Charles

That's probably the issue right there. Have you tried the same thing writing to your internal drive or using a Firewire drive?

From the compatibility pages:

"Although limited recording and playback of audio tracks may be possible using the internal drive in iBook, PowerBook and iMac models,a separate external dedicated audio hard drive is highly recommended for maximum performance and track count. Digidesign recommends the use of FireWire drives for use with these computers."

Also note that firewire drives must have the Oxford 911 chipset to work properly, not sure that the Western Digital drives fall into this category.

Ok, Im still not able to record to either the internal boot drive or the Western Digital. I now immediately get Dae error 9060 when trying to write to the boot drive and DAE error 9131 when i try to write audio to the External Western Digital. It's fine if the drive is not compatible, but this seems more complicated than that. Anyone, please?
