Default Surround Panner Module weird Behaviour

From time to time i get no response from the Joysticks or the knobs in the Surround Panner module while the on screen pan activity
seems to follow the automation moves
That is i can move the pan position in screen with the mouse but not via them.
Recalibrating the Joysticks and the touch screen solves the problem.

Another weird thing that i have noticed-last week- is that the selector buttons on the Surround module suddenly became inactive.
Recalibrating the unit did not solve this,so i went to the Utility Menu and re-adjusted the contrast +brightness....and it did worked....that happened only once so far in a 5 monthh operating period

So nobody has experienced this situation.......
I am glad about it,so probably the MainUnit of our DControl must be the only one with this sort of problem

i find there are a lot of response bugs with the panner module. i'm not sure if they are related to what you are experiencing. the two big ones for me are:
- stereo tracks don't always get called up properly on the panner boxes
- link buttons are not always responsive

digi has confirmed with me that these are bugs earlier this year but i guess they can't be bothered to fix it.

I also often have problems with stereo tracks: the panner displays only the left part of the track!

Dimitri,
Hit the right window target button, choose main (on screen) and there you go.

I regularly get a situation where the panning module will not wake up after console is sleeping. Every other section wakes up but not the panner. I have to power cycle the centre section to get it going again. This doesn't happen every day either - maybe about 50% of the time.

Just got back from the IBC and after a long discussion i got the confirmation about this problem,so we are waiting for a new
Surround Panner Module, and i do hope that the problem lies in the unit and not on the mainboard of the DControl Main

We also have a problem with the digits readout on the bridge meter-Main Counter+SubCounter- seems that a few elements are kind of burned out, digits such as 5 or 6 are missing a dot
They have also admited that this is also a problem so we are expecting a new board for this.

Thanks! By the way, the left target button also does the job.
