Default Re: Excessive Processor Usage and Temperature: Avid 002 & 003 Family Driver

Obviously this has been going on for some time with both the 002 and 003 family and mBox since 2013.

It doesn't appear that Avid has acknowledged that there is a driver problem and, I suspect since the 002 and 003 are legacy hardware, that there may not be a fix in the works. I hope I'm wrong but my gut tells me we may be on our own.

Avid? Would love for you to at least acknowledge that you're aware of this issue and give us some idea if there is a plan to fix this. And, if not, at least let us be aware that we're going to have to replace our 002 and 003 hardware. Leaving us hanging is not appreciated.

Mavericks 10.9.4
MBP 15-inch (Late 2011), 2.4.GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM
003 driver 11.1.2
Protools 11.1.3
