PostCnf 2.0 & 9pin
I've discovered that PC 2.0 will directly control a Lynx II module but always forces it into video reference mode, any particular reason why? I also noted that PT5.0 machine control requires setting the system to video ref...coincidence??? Does Digi need to have all 9pin devices at video reference? We are trying to control an analogue deck but would like to load at film rate. Any clues??? Thanks

Re: PostCnf 2.0 & 9pin
Check your time code settings in Post Conform. Do you have it set at 30 or 29.97.

Re: PostCnf 2.0 & 9pin
Its definitely set to 30fps. The minute you initialize machine control in PC the lynx switches to vid ref regardles of where the TC is set. I noticed in the PT prefs under machine control, there is a note that the USD MUST be ref'ed to video sync. Makes me suspicious???!!! Anyone know if PC or PT can use 9pin at crystal rate??
Thanks, -Polaris
