Exactly. Now I personally am only waiting for the following:
  • Empirical Labs (Arousor, Big FrEQ)
  • iZotope (Symphony, Stratus)
  • Plugin Alliance (channel strips, amp sims, m/s stuff, mäag, ...)
  • Lexicon (everything)
  • TC Electronic (everything)

Hurry up, please.

Checking the gearspace Empirical Labs thread almost daily, Dave actually promised to have it ready last month, but apparently it's not going super fast over there

Pluigin-Alliance has a hugeeee catalog, cool to see that recently some of the plugins got ported to AAX silicon, and that all recent releases come with universal binaries for AAX, but that's only a fraction of the giant aresenal of PA.

Lexicon would be cool too, but Harman have been extremely slow with updating their plugins over the last decade. In fact they still provide RTAS downloads at the front download page. Quite happy with the UA 224 actually, that luckily got its native counterpart with UADx and is AAX silicon native.

I can live without Lexicon, but would want to have it for backwards session compatibility. TC, however.. I am quite pissed if they drop the ball here.

TC isn't dropping their plugins. Lexicon, however... I wouldn't be surprised to one day wake up to an announcement stating that they've thrown in the towel. In a sense, they already have.Backward compatibility is the only reason I'd like to see a Native version, but for now we can flip to Rosetta just to get the plugin open and then match it with an alternative.

I kinda feel (hope) the same way. But with that said I think I am not alone in saying I would drop upgrade money if Lexi/TC come up with surround versions in Apple Silicon native format. Only time will tell which direction they are taking.

I'd send TC some upgrade money. Lexicon doesn't ever get another penny from me.

Maybe it is time to pony up for 3D versions of Symphony/Stratus once iZotope delivers. That is, I think, the pinnacle of Michael Carnes' life work.

I had the same same issue with Play Cell. Trashed preferences and now it's working fine.

Everything works great, except I have one weird issue. My USB MPK249 keyboard is not controlling any midi plugins on new sessions.

I opened an older session and it works fine, it controls the B3 plugin, and EZ Drummer pads.

On a new session, I enable record on the tracks and hit the keys on the MPK and nothing happens.

I've trashed prefs, rebooted, reconfigured the midi setup, checked against the old session, but still the new sessions don't work.

Hmmmm I'm stumped.

DISREGARD: After trashing prefs, I had to go to Options and enable Midi Thru. DOH!

Anyone know if/when Cranesong will release Phoenix II as Apple Silicon native? I know they are probably reeling from the passing of Dave Hill…. No luck over here with their beta.
