Default MAtch Tracks -- is it INCLUDED in PT9 (non HD)?

Can anyone, who actually has PT9 (non HD) up and running WITHOUT the COMPLETE PRODUCTION TOOLKIT2 confirm for me if the MATCH TRACKS feature is enabled in the Import Session Data window.

There is conflicting information on the Avid's website. In the overall description of PT9 (non HD) they list 'enhanced Import Session Data features'. But then in the Complete Production Toolkit 2 description page it lists the SAME feature - as if you need the CPT2 to add that functionality. That was always the way it was without DVToolkit2. LE did NOT have the MATCH TRACKS fiunctionality in the Import Session Data window -- unless you purchased DVToolkit2.

I need to know if that feature (match tracks/ and choose WHAT to import) is INCLUDED withOUT the Complete Production Tookit 2.

But I only want to hear from people who have PT9 up and running - since we can all read the articles on Avid's site. They conflict on this issue.

Thanks in advance,
NewdestinyX

So the only differences between Standard and HD 9 is:

EuConn support
VCA's
Trim Automation??

Is that all?

there's a few more like 64 videos vs 1... if u hav the CPTK then there aren't any differences except trackpunch as far as the software goes for the most part...

What do you mean by 'track punch'? Destructive Record?

Cause I know "Quick Punch" was always in LE and MPow.

Can you explain, does the CMTK give you input monitor switching in PT 9 native?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that the Green "I" button is only functional in actual HD systems. I don't thing even PTHD9 software running on an ASIO driver machine will give you the "I" button.

But others can help us confirm.

I have PTHD9 and when I open a session on my laptop without ANY interface attached -- meaning -- listening thru Sound Manager/Core Audio - the little green "I" is not present in the Mixing board window. Complete Prod Toolkit 2 add 'full PTHD9' capabilities to Standard PT9 -- EXCEPT for things that are unique 'only' to the TDM systems - of which I'm pretty sure 'destructive record' and the "I" button are unique only to TDM systems.

Anybody know for sure?
