Default USB1 or USB2

Does anyone know of the USB connection from the Command 8 to the digi hardware is over USB 1 or 2?

Also, I wonder how the Command 8 would interact with a Digi002 control surface. Would one's transport take priority over the other? Hmmn.

You should download the Command8 manual, it will give you a lot of insight to your questions.

I picked up an Adaptec USB 2.0 PCI card from Best Buy for around $24.
It installed fine and I was able to run my USB 2.0 HD off of the card but not my C8.
So I plugged it into my standard USB 1.0 port and I worked fine.

I would think it is USB 1.1 since USB 2 is usually used to transmit heavy data like audio and video....The Command 8 only transmits MIDI messages...not actual audio. But I could be wrong

Hi!
Just got mine, and have it hooked to a USB2/1.1 port onboard, ASUS P4C800-E Dlx.

I would guess it is doing simple USB1.1, and that as long as a port with USB 2 capabilities also has full USB 1.1 compliance, should be fine.
Odd that it isn't for Mr Ware...
