Default Digi Tech Support - Please Read & Advise

This post is in reference to this topic:

http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...part=1#1181921

I have figured out that my version of 7.3 is somehow not the "full" version as I can only import one video into a session, just like 7.1 and I cannot view movie regions in the bin even after trying Shift+Com/Apple+3 as someone suggested.

My version is an "electronic download" from the Digi site as I qualified for the release after purchasing a MBox 2.

I am experiencing the same issue on both my MacBook and my G4

Advice on how I can obtain my complete working version of Pro Tools?

Thanks

Have you tried all the troubleshooting steps? There aren't any 'alternate' versions of 7.3LE, if you've got it, you've got the full thing, but maybe you need to trash some pref files or something if you're having issues as outlined in the "General Troubleshooting" thread.

Thanks Slim as you are one to help people out.

But yes, I've done ALL the troubleshooting possible...trashed preferences and all other recommendations from Digi...

This is happening on two different systems though...my MacBook and my G4...

If I delete the video track in 7.3 and open in 7.3, everything runs fine...open the same 7.3 session in version 7.1 and this is when the problems begin...

Also, Digi, the waveforms cannot be calculated in the workspace browser...

With new versions come new bugs...it's just frustrating...

Hey man, you know if you want answers from them it's better to use the support request form. Maybe you already did, just checking. Digi's not always around these forums, their presence kinda comes and goes so if you really specifically want an answer from them use the form.

Thanks again and I've done this as well...just waiting to hear...

There seems to be confusion about how many video tracks/files that can be imported into 7.3.

According to Digi, DV Toolkit 2 allows for "multiple video tracks to the Timeline with multiple video playlists and multiple QuickTime movies per track."
