HD system on Dell Dimension 8200

The following is from Digidesign's Compatability page:

Dell Dimension 4500 and 8200 systems currently only work with 1 HD card. The system fails to boot if there are 2 or more HD cards in the system. Digidesign is working with Dell to resolve this issue. Please check this page periodically for updated information.

Does anyone have any further info about this, tried it, etc?
