Mix & Edit Windows as TABS in 1 Pro Tools Window

I was fooled earlier about it working in Dark Mode and will explain

#1 If before I open any sessions, I set PT to Dark and then open existing sessions or create new ones it does not work

#2 If before I open any sessions, I set it to Classic and then open existing or create new sessions it does work and can be saved and will reopen with it working

#3 If I set PT to Classic then open or create a session it works,, and If while the session is open I reset PT to Dark ,, then it will work also (this is why I thought it worked in Dark before.)
BUT If I save and close the working Dark mode session and then reopen it it does not work


And here is how I have my Mac OS Systems Settings set

that's it, exactly as you spoon fed me!!

it's all about NOT working in Dark Mode, but switching to Classic (white, bright mode),

and those 3 steps, options, are EXACTLY correct,
i have confirmed it all,
the only setting that must be set is that "ALWAYS" prefer tabs when opening windows,
and then you must open in Classic Mode, then change to Dark,
you can never open in Dark Mode, or TABS will NOT work

and with all this, i think it's a Pro Tools "bug",

would love the TABS feature to work without having to switch to "Classic" then back to "Dark" every time!!

and yes, i have confirmed a bug in Pro Tools 2024.3

when you switch to Classic, to Dark, or vice-versa,
and then you cmd+=. to switch between edit and mix pages,

Dark UI is ok sometimes, but other times, when in dark mode, the background of edit window stays light gray instead of dark gray
and this depends on which screen you're on when you make the switch of UI Theme

but when set to Classic UI, the mix window background stays on Dark mode , (it stays dark gray instead of changing to light gray)

try it!!! minor, but a bug, nonetheless

Yes I did notice did notice similar quirky of mix of light and dark but was focused on the the tab selection So I think (unless we are missing some other setting ? ) that it is a BUG in how PT is handling Dark mode on said systems/versions
I have not checked my Intel iMac. because I have two displays and it is a non issue
