Ilok license not refreshing after 7/19 - Can't use Pro Tools!
This looks like the same issue as
https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=429209 but I am using iLok cloud. It's been working for years.. all payments are up to date and reflected on avid.com.. It worked a couple of days ago (grace period, maybe).. but I can't now I can't launch Pro Tools. The license appears like this It isn't updating to reflect the monthly payment/switchover.. the MSFT outage/issue is resolved, I'd though. I tried clicking refresh yesterday on it.. today, I tried deactivating it to see if it would re-activate.. that didn't go well, so it now shows 0 of 1 activated. Also, iLok software is up to date (Pro Tools as well).. and, this is happening on both a Mac and a Windows host. Last edited by Xensori; 08-03-2024 at 05:09 PM. |

iLok had scheduled maintenance break Monday, July 29. Maybe they have missed something?

i'm guessing it's from the crowd strike thing. Just not sure which side the problems on. I'm guessing it's avids since they reported problems. That and there's others that have reported the same problem.

Problem is on Avid's side no matter what. Their products and customers are affected... paying for the dorky subscription and can't even get into the product.. and they choose to use this dingus dongle technology.

yeah i've been watching this message board and the facebook one only way to get it fixed is for avid to fix it so we wait i guess.

Same here. I use Pro Tools for live and had a run of shows in England. My grace period expired AFTER my last show, but now I'm back home in the States and it still isn't worked out. I thought maybe it was a me being abroad thing, but now I see it's happening to more people.
Am waiting for an AVID agent to get back to me via email, since the guy in the chat box couldn't help. Hoping for the best! |

Solved: Ilok license not refreshing after 7/19 - Can't use Pro Tools!
I went to this form (seen in another thread):
https://www.avid.com/learn-and-suppo...-music-support I put my System ID (from the avid website) and iLok Email in the "Serial Number" field. Avid sorted it within a couple of hours.. license was renewed. |
