Default Whick monitors USB or Non-USB?

First I want to thank the ones who helped me on my previous post.

My concern now is, I'm wanting to update my studio monitors and I'm using the M-Audio Fast Track MKII USB Audio Interface with Pro Tools SE. I'm wanting to get active speakers. Which would be better regular active or USB active. Didn't know if I could use UBS monitors with the interface unit. I know when I hook up my M-audio interface my computer speakers gets disabled. Thanks to all in advance for your replies......
