Default Preferences is not stored

I have PT LE731cs2 and everything works fine, except that I can't store the prefs.
I have deleted the digidesign database catalogues but that dosn't help.
Any ideas?

Do you have quicktime installed?

There have been references to this problem recently that quicktime is needed to save the preferences properly.

Then your "fix" is to install quicktime. Pro Tools uses it and needs it for several different functions.

Quick Time HAS to be installed.

This is a MUST and it will solve all your Pref. Probs.
