Default Region stuck at double speed playback ?!

Hello all

I am in the process of doing some dialogue editing and a single region plays back at double speed!Among 50 regions it is just a single one that behaves as such. Have I pressed a wrong shortcut on a feature I am unaware of or is there a glitch in Pro Tools 8????

Have you upgraded to 8.0.1?

Elastic properties could do that.

Arrow Re: Region stuck at double speed playback ?!

My apologies! The recorded file plays back in double speed through Quicktime so I must have recorded in half speed by accident...

Would anyone know how to bring it back to the normal speed without involving another computer? I've tried playing back in half speed and the punch in record but apparently this brings the whole recording in half speed so...no good...

Cheers all

If it's a wav file, windows sound recorder can cut the speed in half. Sound recorder is likely in the start/programs/accessories/entertainment menu
