Force Quit then delete both (inside Applications>Avid):
1. AvidApplicationManager 2. Avid Link Reboot. See if that solves the problem. |

Oddly, I experienced the same thing with AIRChorus the other morning. Same error message.
What's really weird is I had used the plugin prior but switched to a different chorus plugin and that AIRChorus still crashed the session overnight somehow, even though it was not in the session. Correct, I believe you shouldn't be using sleep ever for a "music computer". Attached are my lock screen settings. I never had an issue until last yesterday morning, but it didn't happen again this morning at least. Hopefully not weirdness on 2024.6!

And are you running Avid Link?
Save the .crash file somwhere and post online and I'll take a quick look. Likely bloatware crash reporting crap, maybe with more Avid Link bloatware crap, wasting everybody's time. Absolutely must have been a very very very smart reason to not stick with good old native Apple macOS crash tooling. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

Thanks for the response. Avid Link is on my computer, but I never have it running. I should've saved the crash report yesterday morning but I didn't! Would it be somewhere deep where I could send it to you?
I will say I was confused by the version naming for the AIR plugins in the Pete Gates app so I used the installers from my Avid account to make sure I was on the newest versions of the AIR plugins - without the use of Avid Link. I'm pretty certain I was already on the version of all the Pro Tools plugin stuff anyway though. Hopefully there is a good reason for the change in crash tooling ![]()

If there are .crash files saved on your system they will be in the folder
~/Library/Logs/Avid/Crashlog/ProTools Next time don't send them save them. |

Pro Tools crashed today on a very simple session because of MiniGrand.
It seems like there is an issue with the current version of the AIR plugins and Pro Tools 2024.6 unless I'm misdiagnosing this. Here's the crash report on a dropbox link for if Darryl might like to take a look at it.
