ILOK forcing software update!!!!

I downloaded TC Electronics MD3 for a trial run but when I went to the ILOK site to grab the trial key my G5 runnning system is not at 10.39 My question is ........ Is it possible to download the key from my PC onto my ILOK then move the ILOK to the Apple to start running the MD3 trial ? If someone could answer this now I would appreciate because I'm in the middle/end of a session and not going to risk updating my Apple software.

You should be able to load the auth on your PC, but if either the ilok software or the plug requires a later OS than you are running, you are asking for trouble. I would recommend completing your current work before trying this out.
