How difficult is it to install new faders on a D-Command?
I have a 24 fader blue D-Command and i want to upgrade to Carbon faders. Contemplating doing it myself, how complicated is the process? Anyone here done it themselves?

I did it a few years ago. It took approx 1.5 hrs, not so hard. Big difference in how it operates!

Thanks Will.
Is it just a matter of desoldering the old leads to the faders and resoldering the new ones, or did you have to replace any boards inside the unit?

I've done a few, it's not hard
Take your time, don't drop any screws Don't try and force anything and you'll be fine

When I did it I had a Support Contract so I got them through that.
I'd start with the closest service center
