So this what they were doing instead of porting Waveburner Pro!!!! oh well, another toy for the masses further degrading the quality of music like Acid already has.

Digi's been deleting all the threads on the LE forum talking about this product, I wonder why they've left this one untouched?

I saw a demo of it --

I thought it was very impressive -- very easy for non-musicians to come up with chug-a-lug tracks.

Version 1 did seem a little toy-like, bound to frustrate serious musicians. However, it also represents Apple doing what it does best, and watch out for version 2.

Digi often delete multiple posts of the same thread/message. It's in the terms of use not to spam the board across multiple forums with the same thread.

I think several of the posts in the LE forum were before this one was posted. I didn't look in this forum before I posted my thread. (Since I would use soundtrack with protools LE, not TDM)

At any rate... sound track looks pretty cool, like acid for mac, or recycle/dr. rex on steroids.

I think it could be very useful with protools. Has anyone actually used it yet?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">yeah, but they left NONE in it's wake. Plus, all 3 threads were started by different people (none of them me), which is not at all spam-ish. It seems to me to be more than just a spam issue - there's at least 5 PT6.1 threads with the same info in them, and they haven't deleted those
