problems with protools 10 and 11 upgrade

Hey guys for the last 3 years I've been using protools le 8 with no issues except the whole interface thing.so I bought a 10/11 upgrade cause I wanted to use my presonus firestudios and I had heard 10 and 11 was compatible with 3rd party interfaces and I had been using studio one to track drums and importing to protools.just trying to eliminate a step.so after the upgrade the girestudios show up in both and the work in 11 but if I select them in 10 it crashes!and I have to leave my original mbox mini plugged in or 10 will crash during boot!it's sucks cause 10 I still can use all my 3rd party plugs that haven't converted to aax but I can't use my firestudios and in 11 I can use them but can't use my 3rd party plug ins!I don't know if because it was a le upgrade that that's the reason why cause when I registered it on avid I had to put my mbox serial num in.but I honestly thought since 10 and 11 was compatible with any interface that I could not use the mini anymore...

Holy run on sentences!!! I could barely understand this the first time I read it!! Wow.

My guess is that you're probably using the wrong OS for a co-install. In other words, you have to pick one or the other.
But I can tell you for sure that I am using 10 with 3rd party interfaces.

Sorry about the sentences! Lol! Anyhow,I did get it figured out.... I just went to the presonus website and downloaded the next to last version of the drivers for the firestudio and that seemed to solve it! Atleast so far....lol!
