Default has anyone else noticed.......

is it just me or has there been a huge increase in "broken digi system" threads since christmas?

i mean, a week ago we were all dancing, singing and putting smiles on each others faces just thinking about roy's guitar (BTW roy,the fireplace thing still makes me giggle )

and now.......all i see is "my cd burner isnt working" and "i hate digidesign cause it wont run on my comp" threads....

lemme tell you guys something, i spent my $800 on the digi001 then went out and dropped $1500 on a computer that wasnt compatable (HP Pavillion) and that i couldnt return, so then i had to go buy another machine (compaq presario) only to find that PTLE wouldn't run on XP, so i waited for 6 months befor they released a XP version of PTLE. i understand completely why you'd be angry...most of us have had problems but fair is fair and that's why i say this....

DIGIDESIGN WILL FIX IT....they may be a few months behind but thier doing the best they can, just chill, in a few months you'll have bigger fish to fry like what monitor,pre-amps,mics,plugins should i get so save your energy for then

(i know i'll get heat for this but...) DIGI, keep up the good work, can't wait for the next PTLE release

maybe a tad above the normal dissent found on this forum. I really like the fact that digi doesnt censor dissent though.
Probably a lot of folks getting bonuses (if they're lucky) and people getting their systems from Santa - oops, and are instantly over thier heads.
Its an overwhelming system - I learn something new every day. I forget twice as much as that. One day when they come out with an upgrade for Human Brain 1.0, then I will retain more of this stuff

i just re-read my post and i want to say that i'm not yelling or complaining about the "broken systems" post.

i'm just trying to let them know alot of us have been through this and if they just hang on a little while they wont regret it. digi always comes through

bi0force1, I'm having problems with XP and 5.3 right now, so I'll jump on your bandwagon. I upgraded to get more and lately I have nothing but problems.

Change your name to Jim Jones and let me know what flavor the Koolaid is. I'll take it into consideration vs trying to get PT to run properly in XP.

Maybe instead of a bandwagon, it's a hayride. Ever heard the Hoodoo Gooroos "Hayride bound for Hell"?
