Default 2019.10 Won't Install

Hi all,
Having a very frustrating time trying to install 2019.10 - Avid Link installs the Avid Video Engine and then nothing else.
Originally I tried installing over my 2019.6 and then when that install attempt broke the previous version (without installing the new version) I uninstalled everything but still cannot re-install anything other than the Avid Video Engine... am I missing something here?

Don't use Avid Link; instead download directly from your Avid Master account.

Yup what he said...... I only use Avid Link to update Avid Link.... grab PT from your products page.

Gotta love Avid and their tech issues for a simple point update haha...

I don't even have Avid Link installed - deleted it right after I installed 2019.6

Here's a good one - being I uninstalled Avid Link will the update install it? Along with the other crud I uninstalled that a lot of people get rid of?

Good Question..... me suspects yes.... I thought from memory it was a seperate install.... but that was many beers and whatever else ago

Sorry for the trouble. I see that you downloaded from your Avid account but wanted to let you/others know we have identified the cause and are working on a fix.

On Windows, I Download Pro Tools 2019.10 from my account, and Uninstall Pro Tools 2019.6, Only Pro Tools, and Install Pro Tools 2019.10, And Works fine here, Only the Restart after close, So, I Restart Windows with Pro Tools running, and it's Ok for now!!!

I keep having the same issue, too.
Here is my post on what happens, which error messages pop up, and so on.

I'd hate, after paying so much for it, to cancel the subscription and delete everything.

System configuration:
NEW: Windows 10 home, [Version 1903, SysBuild 18362.449, 64bit], 16 GB RAM [1600 KHz]
C:\ = SSD 1 TB, E:\HDD 1 TB @ 7200 rpm, Intel I5 quadcore...
[And Sibelius Ultimate 2019.9]
To this, I received a reply message, when clicking on the link I do not find it, but the text said something like
"with Win 10 1903 some seem to have issues".
So I might just look forward to the next big update that's scheduled for Tue., Nov. 12th, and put it aside for now?

For me, it didn't work at all. A whole lotta pop up messages telling me something's missing….
