Default Over 32 outputs, is this right way to change I/O?

Since PT has a 32 channel limit, when not using avid hardware, and my spidif exeeds that limit, how do I use it?

I have a raydat pcie card wich has 32ins and outs + spidif.

I want to use my spidif out, so I guess I have to deactivate my last 2 analog outputs? is this right? 30 outs + spidif out(2 channels) = 32 channels

is this correct?

hi, i think you will have to move your Spdif L&R over to 31/32 for Pro Tools to see it / and you may have to move those ones that are DeActivated in 31/32 ..

cheers john

That is true. PT simply takes first 32 i/o it sees, so there should be some kind of external application to map those i/o the way you want to.
