PT10 more expensive for loyal users!!

Just wanted to express my disdain for Avid making it more expensive for those who bought 9 to upgrade than if they had not. My regional rep said that a certain number of posts here gets their attention, so all feel free to complain! This company gouges its customers due to a virtual monopoly, and what do you wanna bet that the new plug-in format manifests itself in PT11 rendering all previous versions obsolete and they make us buy all new proprietary hardware!

I think you're a bit late on this one, although I am not sure how you make out it is more expensive for those who bought PT9. It is more expensive if you are still on 8.

This is old news, and has been hashed out since the release, there's been at least 20 threads about it, and although the a good majority of users that posts on forums agrees with it, and we all understand the sting (users), it's about time to just move forward.

It's enough of this already - seriously! I personally would like Avid to be around for there to be a PT11, so all of this has to stop at some point. Supply and demand will ultimately tell them if they messed up better than we can. I upgraded to PT10 and personally think it is worth every penny (for me).
