Will PTHD8 Still Work with the 9 Auth?!?!

I asked my Sweetwater guy and was told that I would NOT have to surrender my PTHD 8 asset when upgrading to PTHD 9.

When I did the upgrade and went to download my new asset it states very clearly that my PTHD 8 asset will be surrendered in order to use the PTHD 9 asset.

This means I can't install the upgrade I just bought, as I have to keep PTHD 8 running on my system for a couple projects for the sake of stability. I was planning on installing 9 on a clone of my hard drive so I could run which ever I wanted.

Who's tried it or has the answer? Right now my V9 asset is still sitting in my account.

If you're installing onto the SAME ILOK as the 8 auth then I guess it will blow the 8 auth away. The question would be what if you installed onto a different ILOK?

Haven't tried that but it should work.
Waves does the same thing.
