Hmmm... I just downloaded it the other day. Avid's download manager didn't work (never does!), but the link to let the browser do the downloading worked fine.

**EDIT** I see you meant 8.0.1 not 8.0.3cs2, which is what I downloaded - sorry

Not sure what to suggest since I can't reproduce the problem here.
I just tested it from home, and downloaded the whole pthd801cs2_66314.dmg file (174.82MB) using the download manager. It took under a minute on a cable modem, so I don't think there is an issue with the file itself or the server speed.

It may be where he's at... I've given up on ever getting anything over 100mb or so from Digi/Avid using the download manager.. It's probably something to do with my ISP here in OZ.

I have to use a 3rd party d/l manager that resumes or I have nothing but problems.. Not just from Digi/Avid

I pulled it in about 20 minutes on a less then ideal DSL line here in VA. What part of the world are you in?

When I tried to use the new Chrome browser to download the update, it wouldn't work, so I switched to Firefox and the download worked fine.

just downloaded in around 1 min on Optus Cable here in Brisbane... I didn't use the 'Download Manager' & I'm using Firefox as the browser.
