PTHD8 and cpu?

I´ve posted that i have some cpu issues and up to now my HD2 work better with only 1 core, why dosent i work with the other 7?
It seems like the PT8 is programated for only 1 core, but must say that so many crashes that i have on a daily basis have i never had before.
I really really hope that Digi have an update very soon because it´s driving me crazy
