Default midi sync with vista and mpc 2000

hey there im new here so hopefully this is the correct section. i have been trying to sync my mpc 2000 with protools LE through my M box 2 pro. i have read how to do it on the digidesign site but it doesnt seem to work. is this becuase i am running vista? could someone tell me if i am correct or how i would go about syncing it up. thanks alot!

It should work for any OS.

Can you explain exactly how you have it set up, how everything is connected and what you're seeing for results so that we can try to figure out where the problem is?

i have changed the frame rate to 30 in "session setup" but where do i change the MTC port to "mpc 2000" ?

That is whatever port the MPC 2000 is physically conencted to on the MBox...
