Selecting default inputs and outputs?
Anybody know how I can assign default inputs and outputs in PT 5.1 when a track is created? I have multiple interfaces, and Pro Tools always wants to use channels 1 and up of the interface connected to the Mix Core card as the default; I'd like the defaults to be different sources/destinations.

There is no preference in Pro Tools to do this. Your only option to create a similar result is by creating a session template where all the I/O assignments for your tracks are pre-defined.
