Might be a sample rate mismatch. Have you already checked your hardware’s sample rate and see if it matches the session’s?

What is the Playback Engine you are currently using to monitor with the Internal Renderer?

When you look under Setup > Playback Engine - what does it say?

best,

Jeff

Try playing with the hardware buffer size (increase it first) and also try some other engines to see if the audio spike follows.

Best,

Jeff

I am using 1024sample Buffer, cause 512 is minimum for DA/Binaural. Enabled Dynamic Plugins. The last two optimation are making no sense a) with 1024 Buffer b) is is not Intel CPU it is an M2 Pro CPU.
And I disabled "Ignore Errors while Playback on Mains and Aux" - no change...

Thnx Tom

See if you can make it fail with a different audio engine - for example, built in, headphones, DVS, anything else. We need to know if the issue is correlated with the MOTU device / driver.

Best,

Jeff
