I honestly think it's as good as Serato P n' T, it just doesn't have the hype.

between DP, Logic and PT, I find the PT time expansion tool to sound the worst. In fact, one of the main reasons I migrated from PT to DP for working with loops was that modifying tempos sounded better in DP. Now I use either Logic or Live under OSX and think it sounds the best of the three...but ymmv.

are you talking about the new tool in PT6 or the AS plugin in Digirack? I was refering to the latter, but I am curious to see how people are liking this new 'stretch audio' trim tool in PT 6.

If you are on OS9.2 don't bother with TCEP. Just compare a simple piece of clean guitar being stretched with the two. Serato is worlds away. I used it to slow down a whole track on a live album by processing each part individually. No one could tell me which track it was!
