I'm trying to record guitar on two separate tracks in Pro Tools 10.3.6 using both inputs on a Scarlett 2i4, one signal from the amp and one from DI. However, I'm hearing both signals when I just want to hear the amped one (while recording both). I've tried muting the DI track on Auto input and input only monitoring but to no avail. Recording to a Windows 7 pc. Any suggestions? Thanks

Is it possible you are monitoring the aux sends on the 2 tracks? What happens when you pull the fader all the way down on the track you don't want to hear?
